Frequently asked questions
A contract plus the non-refundable session fee is due at booking.
Up to two (2) dogs and two (2) humans.
Up to thirty (30) miles from Hebron, Indiana is included with the session fee. If your location is outside thirty (30) miles, please contact us to let us know the details so that we can determine cost.
Depending on how rainy or bad the weather is (and if you’re feeling adventurous!), we can set out and see what happens. Overcast days and rain can add a special effect to photos. If you're not comfortable chancing it, though, we can reschedule.
You may reschedule up to seven (7) days prior to your pet's shoot. Any cancellation after that point will be handled on a case-by-case basis (and per our contract) and may result in the loss of your deposit.

We shoot until we have enough images. A session generally runs about 1-1.5 hours. Please plan for extra time, just in case—because, you know, herding cats and dogs.🤷♀️ And on that note, kids and crowds can impact session times as well, depending on kids' ages and if we're shooting outdoors on a weekend, so you might want to consider these factors, if they apply, when scheduling your session (and let us know about them during the session planning call).
First, we recommend exercising your pet before the session to burn off a little energy (see our clients page for tips to prepare). But, even with an exercised pet, every once in a while we come across one that either:

- Doesn't like the puparazzi (aka, us),
- Doesn't like the camera or is camera-shy (although that happened with Peggy the Husky, a shelter pet, and we got some beautiful photos of her), or
- Is having such a great time, he or she won't sit still long enough to capture anything more than action shots (this especially happens with pets that don't understand commands or aren't interested in toys or treats).

If your dog is at all aggressive toward humans, we recommend NOT doing a photo session.
If your dog is aggressive toward other dogs, we'll let you keep him or her on a leash, and we'll try our best to avoid other dogs, when and where possible. If we aren't able to avoid them, we'll let you take the lead with the interaction and wait it out (we have a dog-aggressive Weimaraner, so we understand!).

No, but they are available for purchase.
There's no minimum. You can order what best fits your needs and budget. Clients can invest hundreds to thousands of dollars in prints and artwork. It's entirely up to you. Check out Max's gallery for an idea on pricing.
